This policy applies to the GharPey Resident app.

1. Information We Collect
- Authentication data: phone number, society selection, OTP verification status.
- Resident profile data: name, flat number, building/address fields.
- Order and checkout data: cart/order details, customer phone, delivery address details, payment method.
- Payment proof uploads when provided by the resident.
- Technical/session data: session identifiers and persistent login cookies (remember-login tokens).
2. How We Use Data
- To authenticate residents using OTP and secure account access.
- To enable society-based store access, ordering, delivery, and order history.
- To provide customer support and resolve service issues.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Data Sharing and Processors
- OTP delivery is processed via a WhatsApp notification provider through a secure webhook flow.
- Payment and hosting/infrastructure providers may process data to support app operations.
- Data may be disclosed to authorities when required by law.
We do not sell resident personal data.
4. Retention
- OTP records are stored for authentication, abuse prevention, and audit/security needs for a limited period.
- Account, checkout, and order records are retained as needed for service continuity and compliance.
- Uploaded payment proofs are retained only as long as needed for verification, support, and legal/compliance needs.

- We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect resident data.
- Access is role/session controlled, and app interactions are intended to run over HTTPS.

- You can request access, correction, or deletion of your resident account data.
- You can log out to clear active session access on your device.
